| The Greater Ladysmith Area Chamber of Commerce and Area Community Organizations are seeking nominees for the eleven awards presented annually at the Community Awards and Recognition Banquet. The banquet will be held this year on Sat. April 24, 2010 at Tee-Away Golf & Supper Club in Ladysmith. |
| Nominees for awards are being sought from the general public. The awards include: Small Business of the Year, Legacy Award, Large Business of the Year, Outstanding Educator of the Year, Farm Family of the Year, Civic Organization of the Year, Community Leader, Volunteer of the Year, New Venture of the Year, The Green Award, and Friend of the Arts Award. |
| Individual nominees should live or work in the Rusk County area and nominees for Business of the Year must be located in Rusk County. Forms are available at area financial institutions and at the Chamber of Commerce office, which is located in the Rusk County Visitor Center at 205 W 9th St South in Ladysmith. Nominations must be signed and include the names of two references that can be contacted for additional information. |
| Completed nominations should be mailed to the Greater Ladysmith Area Chamber of Commerce, 205 W 9th St South, Ladysmith WI 54848 or dropped off at the Rusk County Visitor Center. Nominations must be submitted on or before Wed. March 3, 2010. |
